Great Strides

As you might already know, both Mark and I are doing our Ph.D. thesis research in Cystic Fibrosis labs. Tomorrow we will be walking around the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens stadiums as part of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundations's Great Strides campaign to cure CF.

To raise a few extra bucks, some of my labmates and I put on a bake sale a couple weeks ago. I baked a carrot cake and a chocolate marble cheesecake. I'm happy to say that both of them sold like hotcakes, but I was really hoping to have a piece! Nearly everything sold and we brought in a lot of money for CF research... plus it was a nice change of pace from working in the lab :)
