Fondue Fun

After kickball last week, some friends mentioned going out for dinner at the Melting Pot - a fondue restaurant chain. Sounded like a great idea until someone else mentioned the price... so we all got to thinking and decided to have our own fondue party. Our friends the Links hosted us and another couple, Mike and Jen (they're getting married in July!).

Tiff and Jed started things off with a pesto-brie cheese fondue. Mark and I followed with an oil fondue of sesame-soy marinated sirloin. Both were equally delicious and filling. But the moment we'd all been waiting for was Jen's chocolate fondue for dessert. We all ate far too much and had a great time! As always, Mr. Link captured the moments on film (OK, pixels)...

Speaking of food, I have been following an incredible food blog, Coconut and Lime, by Rachel Rappaport of where else but Charm City, a.k.a. Baltimore. Mark and I recently made her garlic-pepper pizza dough and pizza sauce for calzones - they were sooooo good!
Have a great weekend! :o)
