Mark and his friend Caleb did it last year, and apparently they have decided to challenge themselves even more this year by adding some dead weight to their team, hehe. Mind you, I've never even run a 5k race. But I'm up to 3.5 miles now, which is more than 5k (I can just hear my marathon-running friends laugh). Mark mapped out a training route for me, and I'm trying to go a little farther each day...

The Savage sounds awesome! You'll do great on the 5miles - check out "google map pedometer" came in really handy when I had to find routes at certain mileages :) Looking forward to hearing how the day goes!
