We attended the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine convocation on May 24th. The formal graduation ceremony was the cherry on top after wrapping up our PhDs last summer. It was fun to get all fancied up in the robes and get "hooded" by our mentors, Garry and Pam. We didn't get to keep any of the garb, but it was fun while it lasted :) Mark's parents made the trip down to Bmore along with his aunt and uncle, Carol and Vic, who live in PA. We had a nice time taking them around Fell's Point and Federal Hill. My dad, Chuck, also flew out just for the occasion. We were honored to have them all here to celebrate with us!
