This weekend we went to the National Zoo - a little paradise tucked away right in the heart of DC. Our friend Jed invited a bunch of us there to surprise his wife Tiffany for her 30th birthday. She eventually realized that it couldn't be coincidence that so many of her friends just "happened" to also be at the zoo that day :) I'd never been there before and it was awesome (and totally free)! Really great to get out, walk around, see the animals and soak up the gorgeous sunshine. It was also nice to spend the day with some of our friends who we don't see enough of these days, all of us being workaholics and home-bodies.

Linds, these photos are incredible! I'm so impressed!I'm glad you guys had a good time. It was so nice seeing you all. We'll do lots of hiking/tubing trips this summer so hopefully we won't have to wait for someone else's birthday as an excuse to get together. :)
