1st Christmas

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!

We spent our first married Christmas with Mark's side in northern New Jersey. The pugs hated the 4+ hour car ride as usual, but were happy to play with (bark at) three other dogs upon their arrival.

Christmas morning revealed Santa's late-night delivery: a mound of gifts and the biggest stockings one has ever seen! We had a fantastic holiday with Mark's parents, Jim & Cyndi, his sister Kelly and her husband Steve (also their first married Christmas), his sister Lauren who is on break from Indiana University, and Grandma & Grandpa Hackett up from North Carolina.

The Bremer, Thomford, and Tiedeman families were with us in spirit and we missed all of you!

Wishing everyone a fabulous 2009!

Christmas crackers! Inside were these silly crowns and whistles

Dad conducted Christmas songs ...
let's just say some whistlers were better than others!

Grandma & Grandpa did pretty well :)
