Music to my Years

I've neglected the blog far too long!  I wouldn't blame you if you've deleted it from your RSS feed.  Maybe it is devolving into a quarterly blog, which is still more frequent than the annual Christmas card update (though I failed to even do that this year, whoops!).  Anyhow, I have a lot to catch up on, so stay tuned!

Mark and I love music.  We're not up on all the latest and greatest bands, but we (ahem, Mark) manage to find some pretty sweet new groups and also follow some oldies but goodies.  We caught some amazing shows this fall...

The Head & the Heart, 9/23 @ 9:30 Club, DC (1st time seeing them, going again in March in B'more cuz they were so good!)

Tribe of Ben (local band reunion - our friend Jeff is the bassist), 10/1 @ The 8x10, Baltimore (1st time)

Mat Kearney, 10/24 @ Ram's Head Live, Baltimore (2nd time... first time was better 9/22/09 @ Recher Theatre, Towson)

Ryan Adams, 12/4 @ Lyric Opera House, Baltimore (1st time... incredible!! The guy is a musical genius. Awesome old venue, 2nd row)

Emerson Hart (of Tonic), 12/7 @ Ram's Head on Stage, Annapolis (stage-side seats, 2nd time)
