Vampire Weekend in the District

Last weekend Mark and I had tickets to see Vampire Weekend in concert down in DC. It was also the annual Cherry Blossom Festival that weekend, so we took the subway into the District with our friends Tim & Katie to walk around before the show. The weather was gorgeous, kites were flying in the air, and the Mall was covered with people. After miles of walking, we were glad to take a seat when we reached the concert venue (D.A.R. Constitution Hall). When VW took the stage, we were on our feet again though for a fun and energetic show. We love going to concerts, and this one had a different vibe from the country and folk/rock music we usually listen to. Good times, great day :o)
