Magnificent

... That's a song from the latest U2 album, No Line on the Horizon. In September Mark and I and our friends Amelia and Arnold went to see them down at FedEx Field outside of DC for their 360° tour. It was indeed magnificent! Amelia flew out from MN just for the concert - we had a blast!! We showed up pretty early, tailgated for a bit, then walked down to the floor in the huge football stadium. There was an extension sticking out, which Bono walked out on quite a bit, so we got really close - it was pretty sweet!

Also in September, we caught Mat Kearney at the Recher Theater in Towson, MD - not far from home. He put on an awesome show! We love catching great talent at small venues before they get too big and you can't get good seats anymore!
